Before writing stories for a living, Chrissie Keighery has been: a salesperson, a waitress, a receptionist, a house model, a high school English teacher and a mother. She is still a mother!

Chrissie has published a total of 36 books ranging from Adult fiction to Educational and Non-fiction titles. 'Whisper' is her second YA novel.

She also writes for the best-selling 'Go Girl' series under the name Chrissie Perry.

Chrissie lives in Melbourne with her husband and three children. Her teenage daughter has played a big part in her writing process, helping to build and expand the cast of her books until the characters have become part of the family.
